Ashleigh Richardson Head Swim Coach

Ashleigh is a staff accountant at Vickie C. Richardson, CPA, PSC in Mt. Sterling. After graduation from Montgomery County High School, she went on to swim at Transylvania University for 4 years. Ashleigh started swimming at the age of 5 with the Mt. Sterling Gators summer swim team, swimming for multiple teams along the way. She ended her high school career swimming for Winchester's local team, the Swimchester Sailfish. After some injuries in college, Ashleigh had to take a step back from competing in the pool and got to see swimming from the view point of a coach. She had a love for the sport but being on the side of the pool deck helping her teammates and coaches was where she grew a deeper passion. This passion allowed her to coach for the Winchester Country Club for 6 summers, serving as head and assistant coach. Some of her other hobbies include reading, spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, and playing with her dogs Roxie and Stella. This will be Ashleigh's 5th year being the head coach for GRC and she is looking forward to another great year! Go Cards!
